Need to merge 2 seperate accounts into 1 ... - Guild Wars Forums

My son gave me his Prophecies account. I have only Factions. Two different emails(one for his and one for my Factions). Also, he lost his key after he moved. Knows his log in and password of course. Question is this: Who do I contact (if it's possible even) to find out what his key is so I can merge both accounts. I really want to be able to play both because there are some skills I want to have for three out of my six chars I have on Factions.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

i think once two seperate accounts have been made, they cannot be merged anymore...

I dont think it is possable to merge 2 accounts. I had 2 prophecies accounts when factions came out.. then they came out with the feature to buy xtra playing slots after factions.. so instead of buying 2 accounts there I bought the xtra slots and remade all my second account character.
But if they ever find a way to merge.. I'd love to know the secret. lol

I remember Gaile Gray mentioning that a while back. She said that it could happen in the future, but it currently is not possible to merge two seperate accounts.

As of today, I don't think you can merge two seperate accounts. If you want the skills of Prophecies, get the Prophecies PvP Pack if you like to PvP, otherwise, you would have to get another Prophecies.

I doubt they will ever add the ability to merge accounts. Think about it, someone hacks your account and then merges it into theirs, not only have you lost your stuff, but you have lost the account as well so you need to buy a whole new copy of the game. Furthermore, how would the merge work if both accounts had a full storage and maxed out gold, which set of storage and gold would disapate into the ether?
